Sarah Maguire founded her own PR consulting firm in 2022 after nearly ten years at PR agencies, focusing on meaningful brand storytelling in the food and beverage CPG industry. She’s delighted that she has been able to turn her main hobby of eating and drinking into a business, leveraging her experience working across various industries from consumer technology to entertainment to hospitality. Highlights include working at Derris, Jennifer Bett Communications and Lede on clients such as Once Upon A Farm, Tony’s Chocolonely, Magic Spoon and RSE Ventures.

HOW TO WORK BEST WITH SM PR?

Sarah Maguire PR typically works with brands on a six-month retainer basis, though she is open to short-term projects if there’s a specific PR initiative in mind (i.e. fundraise announcement, leadership changes, brand milestone). With the CPG and media landscape constantly changing, SM PR has found that the brands that are the most successful with her tailored approach tend to have a strong founder/brand mission, national distribution (D2C, Amazon or retail), creative marketing initiatives, a willingness to share growth statistics + business challenges openly and of course, taste delicious!
